Bookstore KL and Batu Pahat are very different. In KL, their bookstore will always full of people. Some of the Chinese students, sit on the floor and did their homework along (maybe because I saw they brought their question papers). While in Batu Pahat, only the elderly will be in the bookstore while the youngsters went somewhere else. To me, parents should expose their children to books. Anywhere, they must bring books, so when they have free time, they can read some valuable info's.
From my observations, most of the Chinese old man will read something when they in the shopping mall or anywhere, and maybe that prevent their brain from shrinking. There are facts, that said brain can shrink.
